Festival Funding

We are thankful for our past year's success and look forward to creating a bigger and better festival experience this year!

The Cultural Ties Dance Festival is funded through sponsorships from community organizations and community members like you. We share your passion for the history, culture, and movement of the African Diaspora, as it is deeply rooted in the cultural fabric of New Orleans. 

Your donation towards the Cultural Ties Dance Festival will be applied to the numerous professional performing artists. Your support also contributes to the dance scholarships offered for the youth dance intensive. Collectively, these components create a unique experience for individuals to celebrate NOLA’s Cultural Communities through dance. The 2024 Summer Festival provides dance classes for adults and children by hosting a 3-week Summer camp for ages 6-15 years, a 10-day Youth and Young Adult Dance Intensive for ages 13-25 years, and a 5-day Festival of dance workshops. exhibits, dance concerts, and lectures for all ages.
