Festival Funding

The Cultural Ties Dance Festival is funded through sponsorships from community organizations and community members like you. We share your passion for the history, culture, and movement of the African Diaspora, as it is deeply rooted in the cultural fabric of New Orleans. Each year we look forward to creating a bigger and better festival experience!

Your donation towards the Cultural Ties Dance Festival will be applied to the numerous professional performing artists. Your support also contributes to the dance scholarships offered for the youth dance intensive. Collectively, these components create a unique experience for individuals to celebrate NOLA’s Cultural Communities through dance. The Summer Festival provides dance classes for adults and children by hosting a Summer camp for ages 6-15 years, a Youth and Young Adult Dance Intensive for ages 13-25 years, and a Community Festival featuring dance workshops. exhibits, dance concerts, and lectures for all ages.
